Davide Falletto, the new head of Global Sales and Marketing, began working at Monzesi on Monday, 4 September. 36 years old and from Turin, his professional experience has been entirely in the machine tools sector with his last position being that of Sales Manager for Fives Giustina where he oversaw development within the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe (in particular France, Italy, and Sweden), Turkey, and Russia. Falletto will be the head of the entire marketing department, back office, and service department and will be in charge of coordinating the area managers.

The decision to hire an individual with these characteristics is part of Monzesi’s clear growth strategy. The company manufactures grinding machines and is a leader in applications related to the tools, bearings, aerospace, and hard metal industries. And now it has decided to set its sights on the automotive industry as well.

“After the consolidation of our traditional markets, which are those in which here we sell the most products and which we will continue to strengthen over time, the company is now ready for the next step: to open itself up to the automotive industry,” announced Riccardo Pessina, General Manager of Monzesi. “When it comes to this sector, we have always sold our grinding machines to the subcontractors of automotive suppliers. Now we’ve chosen to make a leap in quality and tackle that market directly, specifically targeting the suppliers. The appointment of Davide Falletto is part of this strategy, given his own expertise in the automotive industry.” His introduction as the new Sales and Marketing Manager is the final piece of the puzzle, completing the internal reorganisation which Monzesi has been carrying out over these past few months, with the introduction of other specialised individuals as well. “We are now ready to approach more complex topics than those addressed up until this point,” concluded Riccardo Pessina, “to meet more elaborate and demanding requests, to provide the market with even more complex machines manufactured especially for the needs of our clients.”
