Monzesi Group has just made its debut in the Elite programme of Borsa Italiana. Together with other thirty Italian companies which entered the programme this year, on Wednesday 4th May Riccardo Pessina, General Manager of Monzesi Group, introduced the growth strategies of the company to the entrepreneurs and economic experts present at Borsa Italiana headquarters. Monzesi, which comes from the manufacturing district of Brianza, is one of the main manufacturers of grinding machines.
“The admission to ELITE programme represents a clear recognition of the financial strength of our company, which overcame the meticulous requirements of Borsa Italiana – comments Pessina – but also an indirect recognition of the goodness of our internationalization strategies. Monzesi, indeed, is one of the first producers throughout the world which decided to open a branch in Egypt in order to enter the Middle-Eastern market.” ELITE will offer Monzesi the opportunity to get particular forms of extraordinary finance in order to accelerate its business or to support further processes of internationalisation by entering global capitals, by building new joint ventures or by issuing mini bonds.
Today ELITE programme counts on 552 companies in Europe with more than 187 thousands employees generating revenues for more than 42 billion Euros. At present, the Italian companies already certified by ELITE programme are 110; since 2012 4 billion Euros have been achieved through extraordinary finance operations thanks to ELITE programme. ELITE programme was born in 2012 in Milan; it has then been exported to London with Elite UK and later with Elite International to other 26 countries including Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Romania and Morocco thanks to the creation of a fast-growing community of entrepreneurs, advisors and investors.
